Teaching

Anna was the principal singing teacher at Lichfield Cathedral School for seven years, where she taught the vocal scholars and directed operatic productions and choirs. For many years she also taught at The Croft Preparatory School and since relocating to Lincolnshire she teaches at The Priory Academy LSST.

Her pupils have gained membership of distinguished ensembles such as the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Youth Chorus and the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain. They have performed in national tours of shows (inc. The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, The Secret Garden and Matilda) films (inc. Nativity) and with companies such as National Youth Music Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and Youth Music Theatre. In competition, many of Anna’s pupils have won classes in local music festivals and several have been finalists in the Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition. Previous pupils have been accepted to study at Chethams School of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire of Music, and one of Anna’s pupils has just been offered a scholarship to the prestigious Purcell School.

Anna is currently on maternity leave schedule but is returning to work in April. Due to her relocation to Lincolnshire she is taking on new pupils so if you would like to arrange a trial lesson please do get in touch.
